GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITONS FOR THE COMPANY KLAUS MAACK, DER MÜCKENGITTERMACHER
- PREFACE
All deliveries and services form the basis of these general terms and conditions. These terms and conditions will be regarded at the latest with the acceptance of the merchandise. Contrary business, respectively the conditions of purchase are only effective when they are stipulated expressly in writing. Subsidiary agreements, as well as additions of the contract are void as soon as they are not confirmed in writing by the company Klaus Maack. We are authorized to relinquish requirements from our business connections.
- CANCELLATION AND RETURN
As long as the customer is the end consumer they are entitled to cancellations and returns by the appropriate Distance Selling Act. As long as the product is not used the cancellation doesn’t need to be justified and must be in writing or on a different permanent data carrier or through returning the product within 2 weeks of purchase. A timely dispatch is considered an adequate notice period. The cancellation period starts on the day the customer receives the product. The customer must pay the return shipment when the shipment’s order value totals up to 40€. When the shipment value totals more than 40€ we will cover all return shipment costs. Please stamp your return shipment sufficiently. The costs endured for your return shipment will be refunded together with the purchase price (with an order valuing more than 40€). After receiving the return shipment the purchase price payments and your rendered shipping costs for the return shipment (with an order valuing more than 40€) will be refunded to you. Please include your banking account details with your return shipment.
- GUARANTEE
The guarantee is based on the current regulations of the civil codes of law.
3.1 Hazard warning for the application of powder coated elements in pools and in costal areas: There stands a danger of filiform corrosion with the application of powder coated elements in pools and in costal areas. We recommend the use of an additional pre-anodization.
- TERMS OF PAYMENT
The payment is currently only per prepayment of cash payment possible (transferal on our bank account or by sending in a registered letter). For international orders, payments can only be made through prepayment. Please give your name and order number in your payment transferal.

- SHIPPING AND HANDLING COSTS
We charge a fee of 5€ for shipping and handling for all products except for basement well enclosures and insect screens for doors and windows.
We ship our products exclusively per Hermes Versand (insured).
An order of many articles is possible. For this the order cannot be more than 3 days apart from one another.
Foreign shipments are possible through uninsured postage.
Our shipping and handling costs for basement well enclosures and insect screens are calculated through weight and size.
The following applies to basement well enclosure shipments:
LISA (up to 8 items pre packaging unit possible)
RESI ( up to 6 items per packaging unit possible)
ELSA (up to 3 items per packaging unit possible)
We calculate 20€ for up to 20kg incl. 19% sales tax per GLS.
We calculate 70€ incl. sales tax for lengths of 2 meters or more per transport.
Please contact us for deliveries of insect screens for doors and windows.
These prices are set for deliveries within Germany.
Foreign deliveries upon request.
Self pick-up is always possible during our official business hours.
7. PRICE
Prices include 19% tax, cargo and packaging costs.
- DELIVERY
The delivery will be sent to the given address on the invoice (address provided in the delivery labeling field). For special delivery requests please use the appropriate form.
It is not possible for us to send shipments to freight stations or P.O. boxes.
- DELIVERY TIMES
The delivery will normally occur as soon as the payment is received. Specifications about the delivery times are not binding. 1-3 days within Germany.
The terms of delivery are not binding during the periods of superior force, company or traffic congestion, especially during strikes or other unforeseeable events that we cannot control. Should the delivery be more than 4 weeks delayed, each party has the right to completely or partly (to the extent of the delivery interference affected amount) to withdraw from the contract. The terms of delivery will also be incidentally extended in the period when the customer finds themselves in default with fulfilling their contractual obligation. The customer can here from derive without claim for damages by extending the delivery date or by us releasing 1 party from our engagement through withdrawal.
- PRIVACY AND DATA PROTECTION
The customer is known and compliant than their necessary order processing information will be handled confidentially und the adherence of the federal data protection and teleservice data protection law. The company Klaus Maack the Mückengittermacher does not carry out address marketing.
- SEVERABILITY CLAUSE
If individual terms are or become void this doesn’t mean that the remaining terms are referred to. The rest of the terms remain effective. We are not liable for any misprints or mistakes in our internet program.
